Pillar guide
Most headlight sourcing questions come back to three numbers: how much power the housing can take, how many fittings the platform covers, and how small a mixed batch you can start with. This page is how our own catalogue answers them — written for buyers, with the figures we publish on our listings.
We build five power steps: 150 W and 200 W on two copper heat pipes for the N12, 200 W on three for the three-colour N13S TC and N15S TC, 240 W and 260 W on three, and 270 W on three for the N13S PLUS. The pipe count follows the wattage — a 260 W or 270 W driver on a two-pipe body runs hot in a closed housing, and that is where most early-life failures come from.
| Tier | Cooling | Best housing | Typical buyer |
|---|---|---|---|
| 150 W | Dual copper pipe | Small closed reflector, fog-style | Price-led distributors, marketplace sellers |
| 200 W | Dual or triple copper pipe | Standard reflector headlights | Volume wholesale, 4S groups |
| 240–260 W | Triple copper pipe | Open reflectors, projector retrofits | Specification-led export buyers |
| 270 W | Triple copper pipe | Large open reflectors | Shelf-differentiation brands |
H1, H3, H4, H7, H8, H9, H11, 9005, 9006, 9012 and D2H. Nine of them share a body and a collar; H4 and D2H use a different base and cost more to build, which is why they sit in a separate price band on our own store. The practical effect for a distributor is one tooling set, one spare-parts box and a mixed carton that covers most of a market.
Stock specification starts at two pieces mixed, because our domestic store runs a two-piece mixed batch and 300+ resellers drop-ship from it. For export there are two ordinary routes: consolidate mixed fittings into a master carton with per-fitting labels, or ship full cartons per fitting. Both are quoted; neither requires a container minimum.
Bulb-out warnings and flicker come from the vehicle measuring current or pulsing the circuit. Our N-series carries the decoder in the driver, so most modern cars — European platforms included — stay silent after the swap. Where a platform still complains, we ship a load module matched to the vehicle rather than a generic resistor.
The body design carries an original design patent, ZL202330622497.0. If you are building a private-label line, a patented housing means your competitor cannot simply re-badge the same shell from the same mould.
Stock specification starts at 2 pcs mixed, matching our domestic mixed-batch rule. Private-label box artwork is quoted per order; there is no container minimum.
No, and we will not describe a SKU as E-marked or DOT compliant. Our listings carry a design patent, not a type-approval. If your market requires type approval, we will tell you before you order rather than after.
Yes — box artwork, label text and master-carton markings are quoted on the first order. Laser marking on the body is available above the volume where it makes sense.
We reply within one business day with a matching platform, the closest beam report and a landed-cost sheet for your market.
