Privacy policy

This page describes exactly what this website does — no template language, no claims about practices we do not run. If something here does not match what you see, tell us at sales@nitscarlamp.com and we will correct the page rather than the wording.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Guangdong Nitesi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Nitskap), a manufacturer of automotive LED lighting based in Qingyuan, Guangdong, China. For anything on this page, write to sales@nitscarlamp.com. We answer within one business day.

2. What we collect, and when

When you send an enquiry — the form asks for your name, business email, country or market, fitting or SKU, estimated volume, what kind of buyer you are, and your message. Name and email are required; everything else is optional. Alongside the form we record the timestamp, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.

When you browse — the web server keeps standard access logs (IP, requested URL, timestamp, user-agent) for security and for diagnosing faults. We do not build profiles from them, and we do not combine them with enquiry data.

Analytics — only if you press “Allow analytics” in the banner. Until you do, no Google script is loaded at all. If you decline, nothing is measured and nothing is stored about your visit.

What we do not collect — we do not ask for payment details on this site, we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not buy contact lists.

3. Why we hold it

• To answer you — your enquiry goes to our sales inbox and is logged so that a second person can pick it up if the first is away. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract.
• To stop spam and abuse — the IP address and timestamp are used by a rate limit (five submissions per IP per ten minutes) and a hidden honeypot field. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the inbox usable.
• To understand what buyers read — aggregated Google Analytics figures, only after consent. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Where it is stored and for how long

Enquiries are stored as a plain CSV file on our own hosting account and as email in our business mailbox. They are not put into a marketing platform and they are not synced to a CRM. We keep an enquiry for up to 24 months after the last message in the thread, so that a returning buyer's specification and pricing history are still available; after that it is deleted. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months.

5. Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only after you allow analytics. Your answer is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key nits_consent so that we do not ask again; it never leaves your device. Clearing site data removes it and the banner will ask once more.

6. Who else sees it

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Three service providers process it on our behalf: our hosting provider (which stores the website and the enquiry log), our email provider (which delivers and stores enquiry mail), and Google (analytics, only with consent). Each is bound by its own data-processing terms. We will also disclose data if a competent authority lawfully requires it.

7. Transfers outside your country

Our company and our staff are in China, and our hosting and email providers operate data centres outside the EU and the UK. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, this means your enquiry is transferred outside that region; we rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers have in place. If you would rather not have your data leave your region, say so in your message and we will handle the enquiry by email only and delete the log entry.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing it. Write to sales@nitscarlamp.com from the address you used, and we will act within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority; we would rather you told us first, so that we can fix it.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business site about vehicle lighting components. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this page

If we change how the site handles data — adding a chat widget, for example — this page is updated first and the date at the top changes with it. The current version always applies to what the site actually does today.
